Design & Usability

Web design agency: planned and built by one person.

Coday designs your website and programs it too: one contact from the first drafts to the finished code, at a binding fixed price. The websites of the Lindener Ratsstuben restaurant and of Batherm show what that looks like.

In short: Coday is a website design agency run by one person: Umutcan Emre Tezgel plans the layout, type and colours of your site and then codes it in Next.js, React and Tailwind CSS. Colours, typefaces and spacing are set down once in the code, so every page uses the same values. Coday builds for trades, restaurants and service providers; you approve the design and the build at interim reviews, and the source code is handed over to you at project completion.

01Starting point

01.1 · The Problem

A website that costs more than it earns

Outdated design, slow loading times, and lack of mobile optimization deter potential customers within seconds. Your expertise is undermined by an unprofessional digital presence.

01.2 · Our Solution

Web design with a clear next step

The design makes sure visitors see on every screen what you offer and how to reach you. Layout, text and controls all serve that one goal.

02Design rules

One design, set down in code.

Colours, typefaces and spacing are set in one place, and every page uses the same values. That is how codayweb.de is built; the preview shows the idea.

  • Design in code, not tied to a theme
  • Colours, type and spacing set in one place, as on codayweb.de
  • Accessibility: a Lighthouse score of 100 for every reference measured on 16 October 2026

04Behavioral Design

Design that sticks.

Layouts follow known principles of perception, such as Fitts's law and Hick's law. The cards below show what each one means on a web page.

Neurodesign is design that draws on findings from neuroscience and psychology about how people perceive design and respond to it, often without being aware of it; the four principles below are examples from psychology.

Fitts's Law

The time to reach a target depends on its size and distance.

In practice:Bigger buttons mean more clicks

Hick's Law

More options mean a longer decision.

In practice:Less navigation, clearer guidance

Von Restorff

The element that looks different is the one people remember.

In practice:CTA colour against everything else

Serial Position

The start and the end of a list are remembered best.

In practice:Most important first and last

05Process

From the first call to the handover

A free first call is followed by a quote with a fixed price. You approve design and build at interim reviews, and you receive the source code when the project is completed.

  1. 01

    First call

The free first call is about your business, your customers and what the website should get done for you.

  2. 02

    Structure and paths

The structure comes first: which pages exist and how visitors find their way to your offer and to an enquiry.

  3. 03

    Visual design

We design the interface in line with your branding. You approve the drafts at interim reviews.

  4. 04

    Build

The owner builds the approved design in code himself. You follow the progress on a staging link.

  5. 05

    Handover

Up to three rounds of changes are included in the fixed price. You receive the source code when the project is completed.

What the design is built with

codayweb.de is built with these tools; your website uses the ones it needs. Design files, for example from Figma, are handed over if that is agreed.

  • Next.jsFrontend
  • ReactFrontend
  • Tailwind CSSStyling
  • SanityCMS

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How much does a website cost?
It depends on the scope: how many pages the website has, which features it needs and whether texts and images still have to be created. After a free first call you receive a quote with a binding fixed price. It only changes if you order additional work.
How many design revisions do I get?
The fixed price includes the revision rounds agreed in the quote, by default up to three. You see interim versions through a preview link and say what should change. Further changes come with their own quote first.
Can we work together if my business is far away?
Yes, Coday also works with businesses that are far away, because the collaboration runs by phone, online and by email. You have the first call with owner Umutcan Emre Tezgel by phone or online, and you accept the quote by signing it or by email. During the project you receive regular progress updates by email and see interim versions through a preview link. One client further afield is AKAN Dienstleistung, a building cleaning company in Gudensberg in northern Hesse, whose website Coday built.
Is a social media page enough instead of a website?
A social media page does not replace a website of your own, because on a platform the operator sets the rules and decides who sees your posts. On Facebook, for example, Meta's terms of service say that Meta personalises which posts people see in Feed, may update those terms and can remove content or disable accounts if it finds a breach of its rules. A website that Coday builds for you, by contrast, belongs to your business: all usage rights pass to you upon full payment, and you receive the source code when the project is completed. Social media profiles complement the website and can send visitors to it.

How Coday does web design

At Coday, design and programming are done by the same person. Owner Umutcan Emre Tezgel designs the structure, typography and colours of your website and builds it himself with Next.js, React and Tailwind CSS, the same tools codayweb.de is built with.

It starts with a free first call, followed by a quote with a binding fixed price. Then come design, build and handover; you receive the source code when the project is completed. The websites of the Lindener Ratsstuben and of Batherm in Wetzlar show what that looks like.

Coday builds for businesses that want to be found and contacted online: trades, restaurants and service providers. Nobody can guarantee a position on Google; what Coday commits to is written in the quote.
