Web development from Wetzlar
Web development: custom-coded websites, online shops and web apps.
Owner Umutcan Emre Tezgel programs websites and web applications in person, using Next.js, React and TypeScript, and connects a headless CMS such as Sanity where you want to edit content yourself. You receive a quote with a binding fixed price and the source code when the project is completed.
In short: Custom web development at Coday means your website or web app is written as code in Next.js and React instead of being assembled from a site builder or a stack of plugins. That is how features a template does not provide get built, such as the tile configurator that works out material quantities and offcuts for Fliesenverlegung Tezgel. If you want an existing calendar, shop or CRM connected, the free first call clarifies whether its documented interface (API) allows that, and the quote names what will be connected.
Book a free first call01The starting point
When a site builder reaches its limits
Site builders and ready-made themes are quick to set up. It gets difficult when you need a feature the template does not provide, or when a stack of plugins makes the site heavy and hard to maintain.
Coday's approach
Custom code for your purpose
Coday programs the website in Next.js and serves its pages pre-built. Content can live separately in a headless CMS such as Sanity, and features like the tile configurator of Fliesenverlegung Tezgel are written as custom code.
The tools
codayweb.de is built with these tools. Client projects use the ones they need.
- Next.jsFrontend
- ReactFrontend
- Tailwind CSSFrontend
- TypeScriptFrontend
- Node.jsBackend
- SupabaseBackend
- PostgreSQLBackend
- SanityCMS
- VercelDeployment

Web apps and integrations
Besides websites, Coday builds web applications: programs that run in the browser without being installed and work with data. Examples include Starpi, Coday's own web app, which answers questions about your files, and the tile configurator for Fliesenverlegung Tezgel, which calculates material quantities and offcuts.
Existing systems such as a calendar, a shop or a CRM can be connected if they offer a documented interface (API); whether that works for your system is something to settle in the free first call, and the quote states what gets connected.
For start-ups: the landing page first, the web app later
A start-up can begin with a website or landing page that explains the product and its benefit, then add the web app later in the same Next.js project. codayweb.de works the same way: its pages and the booking for the first call live in one project.

How it is built
Websites in Next.js instead of WordPress: what changes
Pages built ahead of time
Pages are generated when the site is built and delivered ready-made, instead of being assembled from a database on every request as WordPress does. codayweb.de is built this way and scores 94 out of 100 on mobile in PageSpeed Insights, with a layout shift of 0 (measured 17 July 2026).
A smaller attack surface
Without WordPress there are no plugins to keep patched one by one and no database sitting behind every page. If the site has a CMS, the content lives separately from the website.
Checked code
TypeScript in strict mode. On codayweb.de, Prettier and ESLint check every commit; type checks, tests and the build run automatically on every change to the main branch.
Coday in Wetzlar builds websites with Next.js rather than with WordPress or a site builder; codayweb.de itself runs on Next.js 15, React 19, Tailwind CSS 4 and Sanity. Owner Umutcan Emre Tezgel writes the code in person.
Batherm in Wetzlar shows what that looks like for a trades business: a website with an embedded online calendar for booking the free consultation and an enquiry form in which customers choose the service they need. You receive the source code of your website when the project is completed.
